Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise PACS Administrator, this individual is expected to provide exemplary technical support to internal and external customers by performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology and all associated applications. This person will assist in full management and support of all radiology electroninc systems, including but not limited to PACS, PowerScribe; the PowerConnect and Stratus software suites, View Point, Vitrea, Syngo.via, Radimetrics, and Viz.AI. This person is expected to facilitate the training of onboarding radiologists; as well as technologists, referring physicians and other clinical users. This person will be responsible for participating in the implementation of additions and changes within the organization and radiology associated applications, including software and hardware. This person will act as a liaison among the Radiology and Information Systems departments.

  • Working knowledge of the radiology department and related equipment

  • With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environment needs of all persons when administering care


Required Experience

Required:
  • 5 years experience in the management and support of healthcare information systems


Preferred:
  • Experience with radiology-specific health information systems
  • Experience with cloud-based archive applications and entailed processes
