As the Senior Manager, Lending Fraud Strategy you will play a key role in shaping the future of our lending fraud strategy. We're looking for a seasoned leader who can navigate ambiguity, influence across the organization, and turn complex challenges into practical solutions. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with lending, risk, analytics, technology, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that protect the bank and our customers while supporting business growth. This is an opportunity to build, innovate, and drive meaningful change in an evolving fraud landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of lending fraud strategies and controls across the lending portfolio.

  • Partner with lending, credit risk, analytics, technology, and operations teams to identify fraud risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Drive end-to-end strategic initiatives, from problem definition and business case development through implementation and measurement of outcomes.

  • Assess emerging fraud trends, vulnerabilities, and operational gaps, and recommend data-driven solutions to reduce risk.

  • Build new processes, frameworks, and operating models to support the evolution of the first-party fraud function.

  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and clear recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and operational teams to drive alignment, execution, and adoption of fraud initiatives.

  • Develop presentations, assessments, and executive materials to support decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with analytics partners to leverage insights and performance data to continuously improve fraud strategies.•Operate effectively in a highly ambiguous environment, independently sourcing information, solving complex problems, and driving outcomes with limited direction.

Qualifications

  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant lending experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary:

$85,500.00 - $185,000.00
