Full Job Description
The Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing (NPD) identifies new portfolio and product opportunities and leads business case development from ideation to launch. The role translates customer and market insight into robust target product profiles and user requirements aligned with product and franchise strategy, and serves as the marketing lead on the core team for GPDP (Global Product Development Process) deliverables. Working closely with the VP Global Marketing and franchise directors on roadmap development, the role brings forward well-characterized opportunities, vetted requirements, and financially sound business cases, aligning inputs from R&D, Regulatory/Quality, Scientific Affairs, Market Access, Operations, Regional Marketing, and Commercial. Within scope, the Senior Manager brings new ideas into the funnel and expands the value of the assay pipeline, including product-enhancement opportunities.

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Builds and owns the product roadmap for robust, customer-grounded products.
  • Turns data and insights into target product profiles and business cases that lead team vision.
  • Leads cross functional team in prioritizing product and launch trade-offs to move programs forward, building alignment and delivering on high-quality launches.
  • Communicates clearly with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex topics into crisp decisions, sequencing, and status updates that keep teams moving and customers informed.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. An advance degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, defining and owning multi-year product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Led new product development or major enhancements from concept through launch.
  • Converted voice of customer into target product profiles, requirements and business cases, balancing clinical, technical and commercial constraints.
  • Coordinated and drove alignment across cross-functional core teams including R&D, supply chain, regulatory, quality, commercial, finance.
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or field roles engaging customers.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $157,400 - $216,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
