About the RoleAs a member of our Business Systems Engineering team, you will build or improve tools that are used daily by Verkada resellers, external integration platforms, and internal teams across the company. Our goal is to find bottlenecks and friction points, and drive process improvements, as well as come up with technical solutions. Our team is the custodian of data that is used by finance, orders, supply chain, and people teams. We emphasize automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, iteration over perfection, and being proactive over responsive.

What You'll Do- Design and implement simple and efficient UI/UX that allow Verkada partners to interact with Verkada
- Work with PMs to simplify and enhance the overall Verkada transaction process
- Develop customer empathy to propose improvements to systems
- Lead projects from ideation to release
- Help and mentor junior engineers
What You Bring- 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on Front End development
- Shipped customer facing products or internal tools in the past
- Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passion for end customer experience
- In-depth expertise in modern Front End frame works or e-Commerce Web Platforms
- Bonus: Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or HRIS platforms

Annual Pay RangeAt Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
