Full Job Description
Ready to play a critical role in bringing innovative medical technologies to market? As a Procurement New Product Introduction Leader, you will be the key procurement partner driving new product development from concept through commercialization. Working across global teams and with external suppliers, you will help deliver high quality products that improve patient outcomes while ensuring cost, quality, and supply objectives are achieved.

What will you be doing?
  • Lead procurement activities for new product introductions, serving as the primary procurement representative on cross functional development teams
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage suppliers early in the product development process to support successful product launches
  • Manage supplier quotations, negotiations, project execution, and ongoing supplier relationships
  • Coordinate sourcing decisions and supplier selection activities using data driven approaches
  • Monitor project costs throughout the product development lifecycle and communicate risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans
  • Partner with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure on time and on budget product delivery
  • Drive completion of procurement related launch activities within SAP and support prototype and trial material delivery schedules
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks while supporting the development of an agile and reliable supplier network
  • Support the successful transition of products into production and operational ownership

What will you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working across multiple complex projects and cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, or comparable eSourcing and procurement systems
  • Strong supplier management, negotiation, cost management, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization while managing competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Experience within a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biologics is preferred
