The Verizon Transformation team is reshaping how the company operates - translating the boldest, most ambiguous problem statements facing the enterprise into actionable, data-backed execution. This role is for a strategist who wants to be front and center on the highest-stakes initiatives and who uses AI as a force multiplier to deliver outsized impact.
Operating through the Verizon Transformation Command Center (TCC), you will own discrete, high-impact workstreams end to end: framing the problem, building the analysis and financial case, and developing the high-quality analysis and executive-grade materials that equip senior leaders to drive decisions forward. You will work in partnership with senior leaders across business units, bringing the rigor of a top tier consulting toolkit and the leverage of an AI-native way of working to deliver - at the pace and scale the enterprise demands.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Problem Framing: Translate executive-level ambiguity into structured, hypothesis-driven analyses and defensible answers.
- Business-Case Architecture: Design complete financial models, investment theses, and ROI frameworks for high-stakes growth and cost-optimization initiatives.
- AI-Native Execution: Leverage advanced AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to dramatically accelerate research, modeling, synthesis, and executive deck creation without sacrificing rigor.
- Executive-Grade Storytelling: Synthesize complex data into compelling, top-down narratives and memos for senior leadership decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Influence & Execution: Partner with business unit leaders to drive alignment, remove blockers, and turn strategic recommendations into measurable outcomes

Qualifications You'll need to have:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of experience in strategy, finance and enterprise transformation, or top-tier management consulting.
• 3+ years in a Tier-1 management consulting firm.
• Demonstrated fluency applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to accelerate and scale analytical output.
• Strong consulting toolkit - top-down problem solving, hypothesis formulation, financial modeling, and business-case development.
Even better if you have: • MBA or advanced degree.
• Consulting experience working with telecom and technology clients, and broad business knowledge of the telecom and technology sectors.
• A deep, hands-on track record of personally producing rigorous analysis, financial cases, and executive-ready materials on complex initiatives.
• Experience contributing to the design, development, and implementation of a strategic plan for an organization, company, or business unit.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, combined with corporate finance, financial modeling, and data analytics experience.
• Comfort working up and across the organization, including creating and presenting to all levels in line and staff organizations.
• Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple-to-understand ways.
• Experience handling highly confidential information appropriately.
Where you'll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $202,000.00 - $352,000.00.
