Job Description
SAIC is seeking Senior Systems Engineer to drive technical solutions for complex problems in advanced systems development. This role requires a highly motivated individual to lead system requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and testing while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to execute mission-critical projects. This role supporting the U.S. Space Force's Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission area ground segment interfaces with both a prime contractor and USSF stakeholders to deploy next-generation OPIR capabilities. Location is either in Boulder, Colorado or Dayton, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Coordination with the acquisition program office and operational end-users to elicit, detail, and document operational concepts and stakeholder needs for the operation of a MOSA architecture hosting high-performance data processing applications.
Development and analysis of system requirements which address identified stakeholder needs.
Support to SW development teams in the design of system architectures which meet established requirements and align with customer concepts of operations.
Coordination with integration, verification, and test teams to support requirements verification and validation.
Managing the documentation of operational concepts, stakeholder needs, system requirements, and system architecture using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools
