Job DescriptionThis position is part of Sia's Financial Services Business Unit based in Toronto. The responsibilities include the following:
- Advise and deliver change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnership with leading financial institutions
- Leverage PM/BA skills to gather and document requirements from business stakeholders around upcoming or existing regulatory changes, capital markets product offerings, and business enhancements
- Lead and present product deliverables and effectively liaison between front office, middle office, back office, and other supporting functions
- Present findings and recommendations to client leadership
- Track project level risk issues and dependencies and face off with key stakeholders
- Assist stakeholders by evaluating existing operating models, designing current and future process flows, and developing Target Operating Models
- Engage with client teams to analyze, evaluate, and enhance client's Corporate and Investment Banking/Capital Markets businesses
- Continue to upskill on industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI, and leverage Sia's tools and other innovative applications to service client needs
Qualifications- 3+ years of Capital Markets experience within Fixed Income, Equities, Foreign Exchange derivatives product areas including an overall understanding of the trade lifecycle processes
- 3+ years of recent client-facing management consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree required preferably in a Business or related field
- Strong knowledge of the US and global regulatory landscape within financial services preferred
- Required knowledge of regulations and securities transactions to help conduct requirement analysis, facilitate rule interpretations, document business and functional requirements and drive issue remediation
- Experience with program and project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall ; collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, or other)
- Ability to quickly learn and conduct independent research; will need to apply new knowledge to own analysis and team management responsibilities
- Understanding of upstream / downstream applications and data
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, work on multiple workstreams from inception through implementation and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong Interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
