Senior Client Executive - Employee Health & Benefits

A day in the life.

As our Senior Client Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you'll develop and strengthen client relationships by delivering timely, high-quality service and independently expanding assigned accounts. You will work closely with sales and client management colleagues, you will coordinate marketing and placement of new and renewal business, manage daily account activities, and delegate tasks as needed to meet service deadlines. You will provide leadership and mentorship within the team, offer consulting on employee health & benefits, and advise clients on market trends and data analytics. You will also work with the Producers to maintain service standards, pursue opportunities to enhance accounts, and generate referral business to support agency growth.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, human resources, communication, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and high school diploma/equivalent is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry, ideally with an employer, insurer/administrator, consultant, or broker.
  • State Life & Health Insurance License (Required within 90 days of hire).
  • Previous experience managing relationships and face-to-face client experience.


These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
  • Knowledge of technical underwriting and extensive knowledge of commercial industry laws, products, coverages, and markets.
  • Proficiency with Agency Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships at all levels.
