Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain planning and material readiness for new product introductions
  • Coordinate with Engineering on specifications, drawings, and procurement documentation
  • Partner with various departments to streamline material and information flow
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of production work orders within ERP systems
  • Develop material readiness reports to prevent production interruptions
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders and evaluate inventory impacts
  • Select and cultivate supplier relationships to meet quality and cost objectives
  • Lead RFQ activities, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders
  • Facilitate return and replacement of nonconforming materials
  • Maintain accurate supplier data in ERP and PLM systems

Our Supply Chain team plays a critical role in ensuring new products move seamlessly from concept to production while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

Asour Senior Buyer, you'll lead purchasing and new product introduction (NPI) planning activities that ensure materials, components, and assemblies are available to support production and project schedules. You'll work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to drive material readiness, manage supplier performance, and support the successful launch of new products.

WhatYou'll Do

  • Managesupply chain planning, material readiness, and scheduling activities for new product introductions to support successful product launches

  • Coordinatewith Engineering to ensure the timely release of specifications, drawings, and documentation required for procurement and production

  • Partnerwith Production, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to accelerate the flow of materials and information needed to meet project and manufacturing schedules

  • Ownthe creation and maintenance of production work orders within ERP systems to support assigned assemblies and subassemblies

  • Developclear-to-build material readiness reports and prioritize material shortages to ensure uninterrupted production

  • ManageEngineering Change Order (ECO) implementation across purchase orders and production orders while assessing business and inventory impacts

  • Select,evaluate, and develop supplier relationships to support quality, cost, delivery, and business objectives

  • LeadRFQ activities, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and issue purchase orders to meet production requirements

  • Coordinatethe return and replacement of nonconforming materials with suppliers

  • Maintainaccurate supplier and purchasing data within ERP and PLM systems

WhatYou'll Bring

  • 5–7years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within electronics manufacturing, aviation, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing environments

  • 3–5years of experience working with ERP/MRP systems and product lifecycle management (PLM) software

  • Demonstratedexperience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement processes

  • Experiencewith production planning, material readiness, inventory management, and new product introduction activities

  • Abilityto analyze data, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment

  • Familiaritywith ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems

  • AdvancedMicrosoft Excel skills

  • Associate's Degreein Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience

Base Pay:

76,000.00 - 95,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
