Job Description
The Position
This position will have dual responsibilities in the Tax Accounting and International Tax Compliance groups. This position will have responsibilities in many areas of the Effective Tax Rate process for Organon, as well as International Tax Compliance and will report to the Associate Director, Tax Accounting.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the quarterly estimate and actual calculations of the Company's consolidated effective tax rate.
This includes review of legal entity projections and related tax provisions, as well as the tax effecting of consolidation entries.
Assist in the global tax accounting activities including assessment and documentation of valuation allowances.
Conduct technical reviews of deferred tax assets and liabilities.
Correspond with local/foreign entities to settle any pending issues arising from the review of this information.
Strong research skills of tax technical issues.
Sound analytical skills to perform necessary reconciliations.
Technology and tax compliance software experience (OneSource, Microsoft Suite Apps).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Assist with review of Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8991, 8992, and 8993
Research international tax issues
Assist with Country-by-Country Reporting, Pillar Two/Global Minimum Tax, and other emerging international tax requirements
Support tax audits and inquiries from the IRS
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
Tax software experience (OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, SAP, Alteryx)
Experience with Project management
Advanced degree in taxation and/or CPA.

The applicable salary range for this position in the U.S. is stated below. Annualized Salary Range (US)
$85,000.00 - $144,100.00
