Responsible for leading all technical activity of a project evaluating products within applications including new products, current products, and competitive samples within dairy, beverages, and bakery applications.
Monitors and maintains quality through inspection programs of finished products and production operations and processes, and; through the review and approval of all specifications, procedures, test methods, and labeling.
Ensures the safety of personnel and property by making sure that safety appliances are worn, that unsafe acts or conditions are not permitted to prevail, routinely inspects safety equipment, investigates any potential hazards and recommends corrective action.

The candidate will participate in new process and product developments, process and product improvements, conducting lab scale and bench top experiments, commercialization studies for new products, conducting product characterization studies, applications and performing analytical work.
Conduct and oversee laboratory testing, analyses, reporting and validation activities with laboratory staffing while understanding quality differences in fertilizer, food, dietary supplement and pharmaceutical product requirements.
Responsible for verifying the Director of Quality has been notified of any incident affecting food safety; collaborate with the R&D and Commercial teams during production scale-up efforts, production validation, and customer trials.
Obtains and reports marketing data for successful achievement of business objectives and strategies; monitors trends, competitive activity, product development, and market penetration; recommends course of action to prevent loss of existing business.
