Full Job Description
The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, supporting an appliance manufacturing campus with multiple product lines. The AME will be responsible for managing and executing capital equipment projects associated with conveying products from multiple facilities to a connected warehouse. This critical role will facilitate reliable, continuous product flow from all connected facilities, as well as support efficient product handling.

  • Lead the specification, design, development, and implementation of advanced conveyance and sortation systems to optimize material flow between manufacturing facilities and warehouses.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of conveyance systems with existing processes and technologies.


  • Conduct detailed analyses of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.


  • Collaborate with the simulation team to model current systems and analyze potential physical and/or logic changes.


  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project execution and delivery.


  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to support conveyance and sortation system enhancements.


  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.


  • Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


  • 5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, including experience with conveyance and sortation systems.
