This role is a key member of the finance team, responsible for accounting operations, financial analysis, forecasting, process improvement, and partnering with leadership to support informed business decisions.
This is a hands-on accounting role that requires active participation in the day-to-day execution of accounting and financial functions. While the position provides leadership and strategic input, the successful candidate will be expected to personally perform key accounting activities, drive results, and maintain deep involvement in the operational details of the finance function. Key Responsibilities- Serve as a working leader within the finance function, personally performing core accounting activities while providing guidance, support, and financial insight to the organization.
- Participate in and oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis efforts.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting to support business decision-making.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate accounting processes.
- Partner closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support organizational goals.
- Own and maintain accounting systems and related financial tools.
- Serve as a trusted financial partner and advisor to company leadership.
- Take ownership of assigned accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely completion of daily, monthly, and annual responsibilities.
Preferred Experience- Experience in technology, consulting, SaaS, managed services, or other professional services organizations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, ConnectWise, and the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience developing financial reporting and business intelligence dashboards.
- Proven success supporting a growing organization through process improvement and operational scalability.
