About the Role
Finning Canada is looking for a Salesforce Platform Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce environment within a Tier 3/4 support model.
This role is perfect for an admin who thrives at the intersection of automation, problem-solving, and light development. You'll build scalable solutions, resolve production issues, and apply targeted Apex/LWC enhancements when declarative tools reach their limits.
You'll play a key role in keeping the platform stable, improving processes, and driving smarter, AI-enabled support operations.

What You'll Do:

527 Platform Administration & Configuration
  • Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security models
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, validation rules, approvals, and Lightning pages
  • Build and optimize advanced Flows and automation frameworks


6E0 Automation & Light Development
  • Design scalable solutions using Flow and platform tools
  • Build and maintain lightweight Apex (classes, triggers, test classes) and SOQL
  • Support basic Lightning Web Components (LWC) where needed
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven automation


6A8 Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and data issues
  • Execute controlled configuration and metadata changes
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and preventative solutions
  • Partner with Tier 2 teams on runbooks and knowledge transfer


91D Collaboration & Enablement
  • Work across teams to drive best practices and process adoption
  • Provide training, documentation, and guidance to users
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend platform enhancements


What You Bring:
539 2+ years of Salesforce Administration experience (enterprise environment)
539 Strong expertise in:
  • Salesforce Flow (advanced)
  • Configuration (objects, validation rules, approvals, security)

539 Hands-on experience with:
  • Apex (basic-intermediate)
  • SOQL
  • Exposure to Lightning Web Components (LWC)

539 Experience supporting production environments (incident resolution, RCA)
539 Strong communication skills with experience training and influencing stakeholders
539 Experience with integrations and/or automation tooling
539 Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder)
  • Experience with AI automation / Salesforce Einstein
  • Exposure to DevOps or deployment tools
