Sales Consultant

Team: SalesSalary Range: $230,000 - $250,000 USD (OTE)Location: Remote (Tennessee or Kentucky)

We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Primary Sales team and hunt new logos, spending 100% of your time selling enterprise business solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10-199 users.

What You’ll Do

• Hunt for new logos, selling enterprise solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10-199 users
• Prospect, cold call, open doors, and set appointments to build your own pipeline
• Partner with Solution Consultants to create business plans showing how our SaaS and cloud products help agencies reach their goals
• Follow up promptly on leads from our Business Development Group and work with sales leadership to identify new target areas
• Engage prospects with a consultative approach and close new business
• Represent Applied at industry events and tradeshows, and maintain customer relationships after the sale to cultivate referrals

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience
• A disciplined, creative, independent self-starter
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record, with the ability to travel up to 50% within your assigned territory
• Ability to work remotely from a home office in Tennessee or Kentucky
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience

Bonus points if you also have:

• SaaS sales, B2B technology solution sales, or business development experience
• Formal solution sales training
• Salesforce or other CRM experience

Compensation Transparency

Our targeted starting total cash compensation in the United States for this position ranges from $230,000 to $250,000 USD and includes base salary and on-target performance-based variable commissions. Actual earnings are uncapped, and many team members exceed on-target amounts by surpassing their sales goals. We consider depth and breadth of experience, skills, and responsibilities when determining starting pay.
