Description & RequirementsAbout the RoleAs a Retail Sales Manager, you will grow our business within an identified set of Music Industry (M.I.) retailers, including Guitar Center. In this role, you will develop and execute key initiatives, build and nurture deep relationships with a variety of stakeholders, oversee account growth through effective programs, drive end user demand generation and conversion, and drive alignment across internal teams. This role requires a dynamic, creative, self-motivated individual who can utilize their industry and product knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and implement them.
What You Will Do- Drive Sell Through: Generation of new ideas to increase sales of our products to end customers, including but not limited to merchandising, demos, contests, events, promotions, product trainings, etc.
- Program Development & Execution: Identify growth opportunities, create tailored programs to address account needs, and ensure seamless execution to drive results.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly audit our brand positioning and performance via in-store audits and sell-through analysis and create and implement improvement strategies.
- Proactive Engagement: Regular engagement with M.I. retailers, including their buying, inventory management, training, store ops, retail sales and executive teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal peers, including marketing, customer care, product development, and technical support, to align and influence strategy and execution.
- Sales Enablement Tools and Trainings: Develop and conduct trainings to ensure retail sales teams are equipped and motivated to sell our products.
- Drive Product Launches Activities: Organize and drive roadmap meetings, effectively lead customer demos and presentations, create go-to-market and launch plans for new products that will effectively leverage your retailers' strengths.
- Communication & Messaging: Serve as the primary voice for Harman with these accounts, delivering key messages, scheduling key meetings, and leading QBRs to review performance.
What You Need - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Musical Instruments Industry (M.I.) retailer account management, with a proven track record of sales growth.
- Proven experience developing and executing music industry (M.I.) retail programs that deliver measurable results
- Technical knowledge of Pro Audio products.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Pay Transparency
$ 108,750 - $ 159,500
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
