Job Description:- Assists in the quality assurance program within the department and the hospital.
- Administers therapeutic gases, such as oxygen, and prescribed medications via inhalation, including bronchodilators and humidified gases.
- Administers positive pressure breathing treatments, including IPPB, Ezpap, CPAP, and Bipap, and monitors continuous ventilatory support.
- Performs regular equipment maintenance, preparation, cleaning, sterilization, calibration, repair testing, and evaluation.
- Participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and performs airway care, including tracheobronchial aspiration.
- Conducts pulse oximetry testing and pulmonary function testing according to defined procedures.
- Provides patient counseling in all aspects of respiratory care.
- Performs bronchial drainage and chest physiotherapy as outlined in department procedures and policies.
- Documents hospital procedures in the EMR, including charting, medication tracking, billing for RT services, and daily workflow.
- Plans and organizes the activities of the Respiratory Therapy Department, including equipment evaluation, manpower requirements, and continuing education programs.
- Supervises Respiratory Therapy department personnel, including hiring, evaluating, training, and ensuring the efficiency of the technical staff.
- Supervises and participates in the flow of work, ensuring the quality and efficiency of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Working knowledge of respiratory care, cardiology, and sleep lab departments [Preferred]

Education:Field of Study:- in Respiratory Care or Healthcare Administration
Work Experience:- 2+ years of Respiratory Care leadership experience [Required]
- 5+ years of Respiratory Care experience [Required]
