How You'll Make an Impact- Deploy to supplier sites as a dedicated quality escalation resource to stabilize production following critical technical, quality, or delivery disruptions.
- Lead immediate containment activities to protect customers, prevent defect escapes, and maintain production continuity.
- Develop and manage supplier recovery plans with clear actions, milestones, accountability, and executive-level reporting.
- Conduct structured root cause analysis using industry-standard problem-solving methodologies to identify true failure mechanisms.
- Perform detailed process audits and manufacturing reviews to identify risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Define, implement, and validate robust corrective and preventive actions that address both immediate issues and systemic weaknesses.
- Partner with supplier industrial engineering and operations teams to improve process capability, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Monitor, verify, and sustain process improvements through on-site reviews and performance data.
What You Bring- Bachelor's or master's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement expertise, with hands-on experience in Kaizen, supplier recovery, and critical manufacturing process reviews.
- Demonstrate ability to identify technical root causes, define sustainable process enhancement.
- Extensive experience in quality methodologies and manufacturing management. A strong background in working with cross-functional teams, particularly in turbine hot gas parts.
- Ability to travel 20-30% (both domestically & internationally).
