Full Job Description

As aQuality Inspection Supervisor, you will oversee quality inspection personnel and ensure that all products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA, DoD).You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, investigating non-conformances, and supporting audit readiness. This is an onsite role in our Sylmar, CA facility. You will report to the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of QC Inspectors, technicians, and quality support personnel.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and documentation across production and inspection processes.

  • Monitor product quality through inspections, testing, and audits throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) for internal and external non-conformances.

  • Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001, Customer, etc.).

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Train, mentor, and coach QC team members to promote compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and calibration records.

  • Assist in maintaining and improving Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.

  • Utilize quality metrics and data analysis to drive improvement and report performance trends

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (engineering, quality, aerospace, etc.) or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of quality assurance experience

  • 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001

  • Proficiency with quality management systems software

  • Experience with root cause analysis, problem solving and corrective action forming and implementation.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 7% of base salary.
