The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in the success of Global Payment Solutions - Cash Management Technology by driving engineering excellence, technical delivery, and guiding junior QEs through complex initiatives. This role ensures that architecture, designs, and implementations are tested as per STLC standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practices.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to both manual and automation testing
  • Require maintaining and updating the existing automation package for reach release
  • Write details test cases, test scenarios and feature files covering functional, regression, integration and end to end cases
  • Work closely with tech team to define overall testing approach and perform acceptance testing to validate business requirements in rapid iterations
  • Develop automation test script for net new features/functions.
  • Tracking and troubleshooting automation software bugs and investigating the cause
  • Working closely with deliverable team on planning and prioritizing testing activities including new test cases and automating existing testing case
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results, conduct regression testing before every release
  • Assist in creating test cases, execute test cases, identify and resolve bugs
  • Work closely with the production support team in maintaining and enhancing the production regression packages.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related area.
  • Advance level of expertise in manual and automated software testing or QA roles
  • Strong understanding of test automation best practices such as test data management, test environment configuration and assertion strategies
  • Good understanding of automation system and databases
  • Solid experience with one or more automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework and Cucumber)
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python or web-based technologies)
  • Understanding of testing protocols and know how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
  • Experience doing deep analysis work in collaborative Agile software development teams
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks/techniques - Kanban and Scrum
  • Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira and Mural
  • Strong communication in English (both written/verbal) and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
