QA/Test Engineer to ensure data engineering solutions, reporting products, integrations, and system enhancements meet functional, performance, security, and quality requirements before production deployment.
Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government. Key Responsibilities - Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing support.
- Validate ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, reports, dashboards, and data quality rules.
- Document defects and coordinate resolution with delivery teams.
- Support test automation where feasible.
- Verify deployment readiness and production release quality.
- Track quality metrics and support continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain testing documentation and evidence repositories.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software or data testing.
- Experience developing test plans and managing defect lifecycles.
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
- Public Trust eligibility.
Desired Skills and Qualifications - Experience testing data warehouses, analytics platforms, and ETL solutions.
- Certified Tester (ISTQB) or related credential.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Selenium, or automated testing tools.
