Job Description

 

Peraton is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our national intelligence program that delivers infrastructure engineering, deployment, infrastructure operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global Enterprise IT Infrastructure missions.  The focus of this QA role is to ensure that products and services meet established quality standards through testing, inspections, process monitoring, and continuous improvement as well as ensuring the quality and timeliness of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliveries to the customer. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Support program managers and respective teams to implement program processes and best practices. 
  • Perform process and product evaluations/audits to ensure compliance with program established policies, processes, procedures, and applicable standards. 
  • Evaluate and ensure products, service performance, and deliverables (CDRLs) in accordance with process documentation, project schedule, and quality standards. 
  • Perform technical and administrative tasks related to the function of QA (auditing), including, but not limited to, scheduling, checklist development, report writing, facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis, and internal/external presentations. 
  • Coordinate the development and collection methodologies to help collect metrics against strategic, operational, and tactical measures. 
  • Support customer establishment of goals and targets, monitoring performance, and reporting against performance criteria. 
  • Support and brief at program management reviews.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance. 
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years relevant experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of relevant work experience in the IT field). 
  • Strong experience in quality assurance or a similar role. 
  • Experience with QA tools, testing methods, continuous process improvement and relevant industry regulatory standards. 
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to program team, customers and senior leaders, to include providing briefings and training as required. 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. 
  • Experience being directly involved in implementing the following frameworks: ISO 20000 and 27001, ISO 9001:2008, CMMI-DEV/CMMI-SVC Level 3, and ITIL. 

 

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required  To hold this clearance.  

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
