What you will do- Manage and ensure project objectives are successfully delivered
- Plan and manage large-scale information technology development and implementation projects to ensure business objectives and stakeholder needs and expectations are met
- Work closely with other Tech Leads to ensure the success of the portfolio and the projects
- Participate in the development of project management standards and methodologies
- At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Participate and/or drive vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
- Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
- Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Manage client and other stakeholder expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships
- Conduct risk analysis to reduce unforeseen obstacles and issues
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
What you bring to the role- University or College Degree in a related field
- PMP Certification already obtained
- 7-8 years of experience in project management
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel)
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodology
- Experience with risk management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of budget management
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $74,000 to $102,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
