Full Job Description
The Role:

The role of the Project Engineer II is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

The Project Engineer II will develop the project's objectives and assist with project lifecycle management. This role performs engineering studies as directed and assists various departments with engineering and maintenance related problems.

This role works in-person, on-site at the Argo Plant. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Actively identify opportunities, develop alternatives, and recommend improvements to business processes.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Participate in a collaborative work environment with Engineers, Technicians, and Supervisors.
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Utilize Best Practices of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
  • Shall be responsible for following cGMP's.
  • Responsible for reporting any and all food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

  • Minimum 4-year Higher Education, University College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering
  • 4-7 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, or engineering field.
  • Functional experience in use of AutoCAD, Inventor or Solid Works.
  • Functional experience in use of Rockwell Automation software and control products.
  • Functional experience in use of Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of Database structures is a plus. Working knowledge of SAP, Infor, or similar ERP is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs on occasion.

Salary Range:

  • Starting Salary Range: $119,800 -$144,400 USD annual salary range.
  • This is the starting base pay range. Exact compensation will vary based on the candidates' qualifications, job related knowledge and experience and specific location.
  • Variable Pay is included in compensation package yet not part of base salary range.
