Job DescriptionThe Impact you will have in this role:The Senior Associate Product Owner will lead the evolution of DTCC's enterprise onboarding platform for non-member participants, including service providers, redemption agents, custodians, vendors, and other ecosystem participants that support the financial services industry. Working closely with Operations, Technology, Data Management, User Experience and business stakeholders, this role will define and deliver digital onboarding capabilities that simplify complex operational processes, improve transparency, and create a consistent onboarding experience across participant types.
The Product Owner will translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements, manage the product backlog, and drive delivery through Agile squads. This role requires balancing user experience, operational efficiency, regulatory considerations, and enterprise integration requirements while championing the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
Your Primary Responsibilities:- Own the product backlog and roadmap for Non-Member Onboarding capabilities.
- Define onboarding workflows for service providers, redemption agents, custodians, and other participant types.
- Partner with Operations and business stakeholders to analyze current-state onboarding processes and design scalable target-state solutions.
- Drive requirements gathering, prioritization, backlog refinement, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Collaborate with technology, UX, architecture, and data teams to deliver enterprise onboarding capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to standardize onboarding patterns, data collection, controls, and lifecycle processes across participant types.
- Bring direct client and user feedback into product decisions and prioritization.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and release planning across multiple initiatives.
- Support adoption, operational readiness, and post-release feedback activities.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:- Exhibit strong understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniques
- Understand and use applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaboration
- Drive creative and problem-solving activity with all participants and partners
- Knowledge of financial services operations, in particular Post Trade Processing, trends and user demands
- Complete the Product Vision and effectively translate into Product Roadmap and Backlog items to deliver the highest value
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
