Job Req ID: 29398Job Summary:The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining product positioning, value propositions and planning and implementing go-to-market strategies for Supermicro's portfolio of enterprise server and GPU server products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop Product Collaterals- Create product collaterals and websites for enterprise systems (servers and accelerated GPU systems) which clearly explain product benefits, differentiation and usage.
- Lead development of white papers with third party agencies including defining the topic, monitoring progress, managing the schedule and ensuring on-time completion.
Go-to-Market Execution- Participate or lead product launches including creating the launch plan, messaging, press release, website, partner quotes, collaterals, videos, solution briefs, and data sheets.
- Support marketing event teams with messaging plans, press releases, and social media copy.
Demand Generation- Develop and execute plans for lead generation and demand creation.
- Work with advertising agencies and technology partners on creating advertising assets.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, STEM, marketing, or business field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, engineering, IT, VAR/disti or sales for enterprise IT products.
- Understanding of enterprise servers. Knowledge of server subsystems and components at the system, rack and data center levels.
- Working knowledge of AI hardware and software and ability to explain it to both a technical and non-technical audience preferred.
- Market knowledge of the enterprise buying process, purchase criteria, direct and two-tier distribution channels.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other marketing, product management, and sales organizations to translate complex technical capabilities into impactful market-ready narratives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to tell a compelling story focused on customer benefits as demonstrated by a portfolio of white papers, solution briefs, data sheets, presentations, articles, blogs, messaging plans, press releases, customer success stories and launches.
- Experience in presenting to sales, customers, and partners.
- Organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience desired but not required in at least one vertical market such as financial services, health care, or manufacturing. Experience desired but not required in digital marketing and advertising.
- This position is located in San Jose, CA.
Salary Range$115,000 - $140,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
