Product Manager, Skid Steer Loaders. This role is responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle of SANY's skid steer loader product line in North America.
The Product Manager serves as both the technical and commercial expert for the product, ensuring machines meet market requirements, customer expectations, regulatory standards, and profitability targets.
This position will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Dealers, Marketing, and key customers to develop competitive products, improve existing models, support new product introductions (NPI), and drive continuous product improvements based on Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback. With the continued growth of SANY's compact equipment business in North America, this role will be critical in delivering competitive, customer-focused products that support long-term market expansion.

With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the product lifecycle from concept development through market launch and continuous improvement.
- Lead North American NPI activities and ensure launch readiness, including technical documentation, training, service support, and parts availability.
- Serve as the technical expert for skid steer loader products, supporting product development, testing, field validation, and field issue resolution.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, market research, and Voice of Customer activities to define product requirements and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous product improvement.
- Monitor product quality, warranty trends, and customer feedback to drive corrective actions and reliability improvements.
- Support dealers and key customers through product demonstrations, technical presentations, application studies, and training activities.
- Develop product specifications, configuration strategies, pricing recommendations, and long-term product roadmaps for the North American market.
- Support strategic projects, major bids, and key account opportunities requiring product expertise.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, engineering, product development, sales engineering, or technical support within the construction
equipment industry. - Strong technical knowledge of skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, hydraulic systems, powertrain systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and machine diagnostics.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), product validation, competitive benchmarking, and customer field testing.
- Strong communication, project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Familiarity with the North American construction equipment market and dealer network is highly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Previous experience with skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, or compact equipment products.
- Experience working for major construction equipment manufacturers or dealers.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese skills are preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting dealer networks and customer application development.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to travel up to 40% within North America and internationally
