Full Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operational success of a portfolio of business-critical platforms that support CIM's debt investment and servicing operations. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that systems, data, reporting, and operational workflows effectively support business objectives. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex operational needs into effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in product management or business systems analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the product manager for a portfolio of business-critical platforms, ensuring solutions effectively support business objectives, operational processes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology and process improvement initiatives, coordinating across business teams, technology partners, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams design, enhance, and optimize workflows, data models, and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, analytics, and data solutions that provide stakeholders with timely, accurate, and actionable information.
  • Establish and maintain documentation, operating procedures, governance practices, and controls that support sustainable platform operations and compliance requirements.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in product management, business systems analysis, operations, technology delivery, or related roles supporting business-critical applications and processes.
  • Experience working in financial services, real estate, asset management, lending, and/or investment operations preferred.
  • Experience with systems implementations, platform enhancements, process transformation initiatives, or technology modernization efforts preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, business systems, data platforms, reporting solutions, or operational technologies.
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting, integrations, APIs, and technical teams to investigate issues, evaluate options, and support decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology organizations.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
