Job Title: Product Manager - Asepco

This role will focus on:

Customer & Application Focus

Act as the voice of the customer for aseptic valve applications, converting contamination risk challenges, cleanability requirements, and operational pain points into clear product requirements and prioritised use cases.

Lead structured discovery activities (process walk throughs, Voice of Customer interviews, field immersion, application reviews, and data analysis) across biopharma, and high purity processing environments.

Identify, quantify, and articulate customer value drivers such as risk reduction, maintenance efficiency, validation readiness, and total cost of ownership.

Translate insights into compelling value propositions and product concepts that solve real customer problems and deliver measurable benefits.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, emerging aseptic valve technologies, and regulatory trends (e.g. GMP, FDA, ASME BPE), converting insights into product strategy, roadmaps, and positioning.

Collaborate with the Customer Insights team to share market and customer intelligence, while maintaining a strong working knowledge of aseptic processing standards and compliance requirements.

Provide clear, actionable intelligence to inform NPI business cases, segmentation strategies, pricing approaches, and marketing campaigns.

Product & Brand Strategy

Own the product strategy and roadmap for the ASEPCO portfolio from concept through to obsolescence, anchored in customer value, competitive advantage, and commercial viability.

Develop and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), and lead field trials and proof point activities in priority applications to validate customer benefit claims.

Execute a multi year brand strategy for ASEPCO, including positioning, messaging, and value narratives that clearly differentiate against alternative aseptic valve technologies and establish ASEPCO as class leading.

Align brand execution with global marketing, digital presence, and sales enablement activity to drive awareness, specification, and adoption.

Own a defined range of ASEPCO products and be responsible for the planning and execution required to maximise commercial success throughout the lifecycle.

Lead planning submissions and risk/reward scoring for new product and project proposals.

Be responsible for product launches, including:

Specification of product launch requirements

Development of core positioning, Customer Value Propositions (CVPs), and messaging

Agreement of promotional strategies for new products

Manage the portfolio to deliver long term profitable growth across the installed base and new applications.

Work closely with Design, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other functions to deliver products that meet market needs, align with portfolio vision, are delivered to consistently high quality standards.

Commercial & Lifecycle Excellence

Define and maintain pricing models and margin targets aligned with value delivered to customers and competitive market realities.

Equip sales teams with value based selling tools, technical training, and evidence based case studies that clearly articulate customer benefits and differentiation.

Monitor portfolio performance, including mix, margin, win/loss trends, complaint themes, and feature uptake; drive continuous improvement, rationalisation, and portfolio optimisation.

Ensure sustainability, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle continuity across the portfolio; coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations on cost, quality, lead time, and availability impacts.

Identify growth opportunities through market segmentation, channel strategies, and targeted application plays.

Actively challenge under performing products and pro actively manage product exits to increase profitability and free up organisational capacity for higher value opportunities.

Ensure product issues, changes, and lifecycle decisions are clearly and effectively communicated to internal stakeholders and to the market.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

Build strong relationships with global sales teams, key accounts, OEMs, system integrators, and industry partners.

Represent the company and the ASEPCO brand at trade shows, conferences, and technical forums, strengthening market presence and credibility.

Act as an internal champion for customer centric innovation.

Devens Factory Support

Act as point of contact for the product management organisation at the Devens supply factory.

Lead life sciences product management activities associated with manufacturing and supply at the Devens location, (product lifecycle, change notifications, customer critical issues).

This is what you'll need to be successful in this role
  • You will have experience working in the Life Sciences industry (Pharma, Biopharma, Medical Devices)
  • You will have experience of aseptic valves and fittings and the applications where these would be used in an industrial setting.
  • You will ideally have experience in a similar Product Management role or adjacent function.
  • You will Experience in hardware engineering projects.
  • You will be able to travel, as required, for the needs of the business to the site in Devens, customer visits (mainly domestic), conferences and trade shows and occasional international travel to other WMFTS sites.


This position offers a salary range of USD 101,166.00 - 151,749.00 per year. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
