Product Manager

Your new responsibilities

The OSRAM SYLVANIA team (a part of ams OSRAM) in Hillsboro, NH is looking for a Product Manager with a passion for the automotive industry, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to translate customer needs into product specifications. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to align priorities, clarify requirements, and move product initiatives forward. This role is responsible for driving portfolio growth, managing product line performance, and supporting successful new product introductions.

  • Own portfolio strategy and lifecycle management for an Automotive Lighting portfolio, including value proposition, roadmap development, go-to-market direction, and obsolescence planning
  • Identify portfolio opportunities by analyzing market size, customer needs, competitive activity, industry trends, and alignment with channel strengths
  • Translate customer and market requirements into clear product specifications, technical requirements, business cases, and launch priorities
  • Lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and external partners to align objectives, resources, and deliverables
  • Drive new product development and launches, including launch coordination, resource planning, product information, sales tools, and marketing collateral
  • Own and manage product line P&L and key performance metrics, sales, profitability, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to guide priorities, status updates, and lifecycle decisions
  • Lead projects defining scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and risk mitigation to keep cross-functional initiatives on schedule and on budget


Who we are looking for

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Experience with the APQP process, SAP, ERP systems, or product data management tools
  • Experience developing business cases, launch plans, or product roadmaps
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or technical product development environments


Work Environment:
  • Hybrid - 2 days a week on site in Hillsboro, NH as a requirement, more if there is a need
