Job Summary

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management with a deep understanding of ransomware and data protection market, and is expected to work closely with enterprise storage, cloud storage, product marketing, sales and customers to define the vision and roadmap for the space, and to be excellent at driving planning and execution for these broad areas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with top customers to understand their needs
  • Drive roadmap planning and execution to help meet customer demands
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development, launch and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build simple but usable products that delight our users and buyer personas alike.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business objectives and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 227,800 - 338,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
