Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Plant Operations provides leadership and oversight of maintenance and plant operations across assigned facilities to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities for Director Plant Operations:- Provide leadership and oversight of facility maintenance and plant operations across assigned healthcare sites.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
- Oversee maintenance programs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building operations.
- Review and ensure proper interpretation of blueprints, technical drawings, and facility plans.
- Support capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades to maintain high-quality environments.
- Respond to and manage emergency facility issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
- Coordinate with facility leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure safe, functional environments.
- Monitor and evaluate facility performance, maintenance workflows, and compliance standards.
- Travel extensively within the state to conduct on-site facility inspections and provide operational support.
Qualifications for Director Plant Operations:- Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or plant operations within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and blueprint interpretation.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a multi-site or complex environment.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and be on-call as required.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the state.
