Summary

Diagnose, provide treatment, and consultation to children, adolescent, and adult patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders.

Job Description

Work directly with patients, as well as groups, using a wide range of assessment and intervention methods to promote mental health and to alleviate discomfort and maladjustment. Includes assessment and treatment of mental, physical, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a doctoral degree in psychology.



Must be licensed as a PhD, PsyD, or EdD in each state where patient care is provided, physically or virtually. Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists.
