About the Role :

We're growing our Optometry team and are excited to recruitan Optometrist to be part of the launch of our new Toronto Metro Centre clinic, opening in early November. This is a unique opportunity to join HealthOne at an exciting moment of growth and help bring our collaborative, multidisciplinary model of care to a brand new downtown location.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to practice full-scope optometry in a modern, well-supported environment - with strong internal referrals, advanced technology, and the opportunity to build a loyal patient base.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and deliver personalized care
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and vision needs
  • Educate patients on treatment options and long-term eye health
  • Build and grow a consistent patient base (part-time or full-time)
  • Collaborate with in-house healthcare providers for integrated care
  • Support patient education and awareness initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario
  • Strong clinical skills in comprehensive eye exams and diagnosis
  • Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient care
