As a principal solutions architect, you will bridge the gap between legacy document repositories, data governance frameworks, and modern SharePoint environments. Operating under a full-time onsite or hybrid work model, you will lead the pre-migration strategy, design metadata mapping schemes, resolve technical migration bottlenecks, and build automated workflows. This position demands a seasoned technical SME who can ensure full-fidelity data preservation, maintain permission structures, and guide cross-functional teams through seamless platform transformations. Prepare immutable content server backups with versioning capabilities to ensure ongoing compliance and audit restoration post-decommissioning. Provide lead technical SME support for SharePoint site administration, user access groups, and site architecture rollouts. Design, build, and deploy SharePoint sites, custom business workflows, and automation scripts aligned with enterprise standards. Author step-by-step migration guidelines, architectural best practices, and technical documentation to support operational teams. Provide post-migration warranty support, issue resolution, and formal transition to operational support teams. Qualifications Core Requirements & Technical Capabilities SharePoint Competencies: 5 to 10 years of technical experience in SharePoint administration, configuration, permission modeling, modern feature development (sites, mobile, workflows), and scripting for automated migration activities. Content Server Expertise: 5 to 10 years of technical experience with OpenText Content Server user administration, folder structures, metadata mapping, data extraction, and immutable backup creation for audit compliance.
