The Nurse Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for Women’s Evaluation Treatment, Postpartum, Lactation, and Parent Education Services. Oversees daily nursing operations, staff performance and development, patient care, quality and safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Promotes a collaborative, patient- and family-centered environment while supporting excellent maternal, newborn, and family outcomes.
The Nurse Manager Will:
- Develop and maintain staffing plans, schedules, and assignments to meet patient care needs and operational demands.
- Conduct staff performance management, including coaching, feedback, competency validation, and corrective action when appropriate.
- Manage departmental budgets, supplies, equipment, and other resources to support efficient operations.
- Establish and monitor department goals, workflows, and performance metrics, addressing barriers and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate orientation, onboarding, education, and ongoing competency development for team members.
- Partner with Human Resources, nursing leadership, medical staff, and other departments to resolve operational and employee-related issues.
- Lead process improvement and change initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and sustained results.
- Respond to patient, family, and staff concerns, promoting timely resolution and service recovery when needed.

Required Skills - Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications & Skills- Experience: Minimum 5 years of nursing in related setting

$130,977.00 - $150,550.00 - $178,048.00
