Full Job Description
Directs the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit. Maintains standards of service excellence and nursing practice. Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care. Responsible for staffing, budget, control of expenses, continuing development and education of staff, performance improvement, and human resource management. Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in their work performance. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related speciality preferred. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Other Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required Master's Degree Nursing or Healthcare related field Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 5 years experience as a RN in a clinical specialty area Required 1 year experience in a clinical leadership role Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required PA Registered Nurse License Required Multi State Compact RN License Required Or
