Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field required.
• Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program or NP program required.
• Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state required.
• BLS and DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Manage floor calls and provide cross-coverage for medical management.
• Assist nocturnist with an average of 2 patient admissions per night, including ICU admissions.
• Perform emergent procedures such as arterial and central line placements.
• Lead rapid responses and Code Blues on the floor and intermediate care units.
• Undergo a 4-week onboarding process at Presbyterian Medical Center for specialized training.
