Atrium Health Women's Care Copperfield OBGYN is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our thriving practice. Northeast OB/GYN is an established practice consisting of 9 physicians, and 4 APPs.

Position Overview
  • Established OBGYN practice with 3 locations
  • Full spectrum of OBGYN and Women's Health conditions
  • IUD, Nexplanon, EMB procedures
  • Averages 100 monthly deliveries at Atrium Health Cabarrus, Level IV NICU


Team & Support Structure
  • 9 Physicians, and 4 APPs
  • Collaboration model
  • Onboarding/training support


Qualifications
  • Minimum Education and Experience Required: 3-5 years of APP experience
  • Women's Health Experience


Physician Assistant (PA) Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred
  • Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.

  • Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, Master's degree or higher required
  • Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
  • Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
