National Sales Director West

Work Location: Remote

Work Hours: Full-Time

The National Sales Director, West is responsible for driving patient volume growth and market expansion across a multi-state region through strategic sales leadership, business development, and physician relationship management. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role leads a team of Account Executives and is accountable for achieving same-store growth, supporting new center openings, and expanding referral networks throughout the western region. This position will develop and execute regional sales strategies that strengthen relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, employers, and community organizations while increasing brand awareness and patient acquisition. The National Sales Director, West will build a high-performing sales culture through coaching, performance management, and sales enablement, ensuring teams have the tools, training, and support needed to deliver sustainable growth and exceptional results.

Here is what you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated success in sales leadership, preferably in healthcare, diagnostic imaging, or a multi-site service environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience driving growth through physician referral networks, community outreach, and strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales performance reporting tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned region (approximately 30-50%).
  • Knowledge of healthcare services, insurance, referral-based marketing, and compliance regulations is preferred.
  • Experience in radiology, diagnostic imaging, women's health, or retail healthcare is a plus.

A Day in the Life of a National Sales Director:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 Account Executives to drive referral growth and patient volume across the region.
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans that support regional objectives and overall company growth initiatives.
  • Identify new business development opportunities through physician outreach, employer partnerships, community engagement, and market expansion efforts.
  • Partner with Account Executives to strengthen relationships within the referring physician community and improve referral trends.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Center Leadership teams to remove barriers to growth and enhance the customer experience.
  • Support the successful launch of new centers through physician engagement, sales planning, and community outreach efforts.
  • Develop and implement sales enablement tools, training programs, and best practices that improve team effectiveness.
  • Manage regional budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure responsible stewardship of company resources.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and performance excellence.
