What You’ll Be Doing

 

As our National Business Development Manager, you’ll lead from the front—driving strategic growth initiatives, expanding Nextech’s national footprint, and cultivating high‑value partnerships that fuel long‑term success.
  • Identify, develop, and close new corporate and national business opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Build and execute a growth strategy focused on financial performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Research industry trends, market intelligence, and competitive activity to uncover emerging opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Arrange and lead high‑impact business meetings with potential customers and strategic partners
  • Evaluate new market opportunities, customer needs, and potential equity investments
  • Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, financials, risks, and growth potential for new ventures
  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead contract development, negotiations, and execution
  • Coordinate internally to align new business initiatives with company strategy and operations
  • Provide trusted feedback, post‑sale support, and relationship management to ensure long‑term success
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, revenue, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Mentor and develop entry‑level and mid‑level sales professionals, tracking performance and growth

We’re seeking a proven business development leader with the vision, drive, and experience to accelerate national growth.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in sales planning, territory management, and closing complex deals
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and building long‑term client relationships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ability to prospect, build rapport, and sell solutions aligned to customer needs
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in the HVAC industry or service‑based businesses strongly preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Continuously able to work in office environment
  • Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery,such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling,pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
  • Rarely requires climbing
