Location:

The Project Manager, Megasysis a field-based role located in Santa Clara, CA (or the surrounding Bay Area). Approximately 10% domestic travel is required to meet business needs.

Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of gas and chemical systems for our customers' semiconductor facilities. In this role, you will serve as both a project leader and people manager, directly leading and developing a team of professionals while managing all aspects of project delivery - including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional operations teams, building a high-performing project team through coaching, mentorship, and clear accountability. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture while driving the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage the construction and demolition of gas and chemical systems for the semiconductor facility, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget with a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure the timely delivery of milestones within the project including start up and commissioning of equipment.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards throughout the construction process.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, budget, and resource utilization.


Schedule:

The Manager will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule; however, they will be expected to be available for off-hours calls and to coordinate equipment recovery as needed.

Physical Attributes:
  • 75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day).
  • Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection).
  • Basic lifting (up to 40lbs).
  • Bending of the knees and overhead reaching.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Science, Construction Management, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in facilities, construction, manufacturing, chemicals, or the semiconductor industry, with a focus on gas and chemical systems

OR
  • High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in facilities, construction, manufacturing, chemicals, or the semiconductor industry, with a focus on gas and chemical systems
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Chemical Science, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to gas and chemical systems in semiconductor manufacturing

Pay Range for this position: $144,000 - $170,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
