  • Make informed decisions on build sequencing to ensure efficiency and meet timelines

  • Manage risks to achieve scheduling objectives

Job Summary

The Master Scheduler develops, prepares, and maintains production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives.

This is an onsite position in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules.
  • Gather data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules.
  • Monitor daily production results and revise scheduling in response to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources.
  • Utilize ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting.
  • Broad accountability to make informed decisions regarding build sequence and schedule to optimize efficiency and meet project timelines.
  • Triage and provide recommendations related to identified issues in order to enable production to move forward.
  • Take ownership of the production flow for assigned products, including reporting progress and challenges to leadership, recovery planning and continuous improvement of execution.
  • Mitigate risks and manage impacts to ensure scheduling objectives are achieved.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in production planning.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing or a related complex industry preferred.
  • Project Management certification a plus.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with teams across the organization including engineering, production, program management and supply chain.
  • Outstanding analytic abilities and strong research skills.
  • Excellent data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage time and projects effectively.

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project.


Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing in an office environment
  • Prolonged periods standing or walking on hard surfaces
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
