Full Job Description
Hybrid - Opportunity to work from a Corporate office in Rockville Centre NY, Long Beach, CA or Austin TX
The Role
We need a marketing "athlete", someone who can run point on everything from managing our outside digital marketing agency to supporting local office event sponsorships to leading internal communications during acquisitions. This is not a role for someone who wants a narrow lane. You'll wear a lot of hats, move between strategic and tactical work in the same day, and build the marketing function's presence across a decentralized, multi-location organization.
You'll thrive in this role if you're comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy being the go-to person for "who handles this?", and get energy from juggling multiple workstreams without needing heavy oversight.
What You'll Do
Agency & Digital Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for our third-party digital marketing firm, setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, and holding the agency accountable to performance goals
Manage and monitor social media content, primarily LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with content developed for the company blog, e-guides, and other marketing materials
Own the strategy and content direction for company websites, coordinating updates and improvements with the agency and internal stakeholders
Field & Local Office Support
Support marketing efforts across our 50+ local district offices, including local event sponsorships, community involvement, and corporate sponsorship coordination
Serve as a marketing resource for district leadership who need collateral, guidance, or execution support
Tradeshows, Job Fairs & Events
Plan and coordinate participation in industry tradeshows, including logistics, booth materials, signage, and promotional strategy
Support the HR and Recruiting team with any marketing collateral needed for job fairs and hiring events
Internal Communications
Draft internal company communications, keeping employees informed and engaged across a growing, multi-location workforce in partnership with HR and Executive team
Develop communication plans for major company announcements, initiatives, and changes
M&A / Acquisition-Related Marketing
Lead rebranding efforts for newly acquired companies, including signage, website integration, collateral updates, and brand transition communications
Partner with the M&A Integration team to build communication plans (internal and external) for new acquisitions
Help newly acquired employees and customers understand and adjust to the Impact Fire brand
General Marketing Ownership
Manage marketing collateral, branding consistency, and messaging across the organization
Take on ad hoc marketing projects and initiatives as they arise. This role will evolve as the company grows
What You Bring
5 -10 years of marketing experience, ideally in a generalist or small-team environment where you owned multiple functions
Comfort managing outside agencies/vendors and holding them accountable to deliverables and timelines
Experience with website management/oversight (you don't need to code, but you should be comfortable directing web strategy and content)
Event and/or tradeshow planning experience
Internal communications experience - you know how to write for and engage employees, not just customers
A track record of working independently, prioritizing competing demands, and executing without a lot of hand holding
Experience in a multi-location, decentralized, or field-services business is a strong plus
Experience with M&A-related rebranding or integration communications is a strong plus (but not required, we'll teach you our process)
Strong writing and project management skills
A "no task too small, no project too big" mentality
Why Join Us
A chance to build and shape the marketing function at a company in active growth mode
