About the RoleWe're looking for a Marketing & Growth Operations Manager to build on the early foundations of our marketing operations function. You'll partner with our Head of Growth Marketing, our Growth PM, and the broader RevOps org to enable pipeline generation and revenue growth. To do this, you will own the evolution of marketing attribution, lead-scoring and nurture processes, and close the gap between our self-serve and sales-managed motions.
Your first project: audit the marketing and self-serve funnels end-to-end to understand what's measured, what's broken, and where the gaps are. Once that diagnostic picture is clear, you'll move into solutioning - measurement, attribution, and forecasting.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Own and manage marketing attribution, building the systems needed to see where marketing spend is winning, losing, and where to invest next.
- Build and ship a product-qualified-lead (PQL) scoring model that hands self-serve users to Sales with a process Sales can act on
- Identify and close root causes of funnel leakage across the self-serve and inbound marketing motions - with before/after evidence, not just a diagnosis.
- Move cost/efficiency metrics - CAC, CAC payback, cost-per-lead, cost-per-qualified-opportunity - through real experiments and interventions you run yourself.
- Own the on-ramps and off-ramps between the self-serve and sales-managed funnel, in partnership with our Growth PM.
- Partner with our BDR team to improve outbound efficiency and automate list management.
- Bring order to a marketing tech stack that today spans HubSpot, Salesforce, and Braze - improving orchestration between systems rather than working around the gaps.
- Become a trusted source of truth on funnel performance for Growth, Marketing, and Sales Ops.
About YouHere's what sets you up for success at Float:- You Put Customers First, Always. You care deeply about delivering meaningful value. Whether you're building internal systems or customer-facing features, you're always thinking about how to make life better for our users.
- You Act Like an Owner. You take responsibility for outcomes, step up to challenges, and seek solutions proactively-doing what's best for the business, not just your role.
- You Think Big and Move Fast. You're energized by building from 0 to 1. You're not afraid to challenge the status quo, experiment quickly, and learn as you go.
- You Constantly Learn and Grow. You're hungry to improve your craft and open to feedback. You bring a growth mindset to everything you do.
- You Raise the Bar. You care about doing things well and efficiently. You balance speed with rigor and always look for ways to improve how we work.
- You Win as a Team. You're a generous collaborator who values communication, context, and shared wins. You lift others up and help make the team stronger.
In addition to living our values, you bring:- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or growth operations.
- Hands-on, practical experience building, fixing, or owning multi-touch attribution models - not just conceptual familiarity with different attribution approaches.
- A track record of building lead or lifecycle scoring models, ideally one you can speak to with real numbers (e.g., pipeline generated, SQLs surfaced).
- Fluency with CAC, CAC payback, cost-per-lead, and cost-per-qualified-opportunity, with an example of directly owning work that moved one of these metrics.
- Comfortable navigating a marketing tech stack and building or owning dashboards and reporting yourself, rather than only consuming what a data team builds.
- Experience in SaaS environments where self-serve and sales-managed segments coexist.
- A systems thinker who also executes - someone who designs the fix and sees it through personally.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with limited existing documentation.
This may not be the role for you if:- You want an established, well-documented function to step into rather than build from close to scratch.
- You've only worked in an oversight capacity on attribution and haven't built or fixed a model hands-on.
- You want a team to manage or lean on - this is a high-autonomy, individual-contributor seat.
- You're looking for a narrow, single-channel specialization rather than a broad remit spanning attribution, scoring, systems, and cross-functional partnership.
