About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Procurement Indirects to join our team. As a Manager, Procurement Indirects, you will be accountable for developing and executing sourcing and category management strategies that drive cost savings, supplier performance, supply continuity, and operational excellence across indirect spend categories. This role serves as a strategic business partner to cross-functional stakeholders, delivering enterprise value through procurement leadership, supplier management, and data-driven decision making.

This role requires you to be onsite four days per week, giving you hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to the pulse of the business.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $89,000 - $120,000


Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)

  • Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies that align with operational, financial, and risk management objectives.
  • Lead strategic sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, from planning through implementation.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts to deliver value, service excellence, and cost optimization.
  • Partner with operations and functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into procurement solutions.
  • Manage supplier relationships through performance metrics, scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze spend, market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to support informed business decisions.
  • Drive procurement governance, savings initiatives, process improvements, and procurement transformation efforts.


Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading RFx processes, supplier negotiations, evaluations, and supplier selection initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quantify business value.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience in indirect procurement within manufacturing, food production, or other regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting contract development and negotiations in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Power BI, or similar procurement and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), supplier scorecards, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Professional procurement or supply chain certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent.
