About the RoleClark Hill is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled manager to lead a team of conflicts analysts in the Philadelphia or Pittsburgh office. This position is responsible for overseeing the conflicts clearance process, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of high-volume conflict checks, and the implementation of effective systems and workflows. This Manager will focus on team development, accountability, and process improvement, while collaborating across departments to support firm-wide risk management initiatives. This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Required Skills and Experience- High level of proficiency with conflicts and business intake systems, particularly the Intapp Platform and Elite 3E;
- Strong understanding of law firm risk operations and applicable professional responsibility rules;
- Excellent communication skills, as this position will require working with firm leadership, attorneys, vendors, and the administrative staff;
- Experience leading and managing large-scale enterprise risk system upgrades together with external consultants and firm information technology team;
- Extensive hands-on experience coaching, training and managing conflict analysts, to ensure quality control throughout the conflict team;
- Ability to ensure that analyst resources and workload are closely managed and that turnaround times are met;
- Demonstrated competency in adjusting workflows as needed in order to meet business demands;
- Ability to build a cohesive, service-oriented team culture and establish consistent expectations and workflows for the analyst team; and
- Ability to closely coordinate with the firm's conflict attorneys and the Assistant General Counsel to ensure coordinated, timely, and risk-appropriate clearances of new matters and parties.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Candidates must have at least five years of experience in legal conflicts with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Pay Range and Compensation PackageThe salary range for this position at the time of posting is $110,000 - $160,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
