As Manager, Business Planning and Implementation, you'll work closely with senior leadership to lead high-impact strategic projects, explore new opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, and help shape Catalyst's future. You'll bring together market insights, financial analysis, business planning, and relationship-building to evaluate opportunities and turn ideas into successful programs and initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead short- and long-term strategic business planning and identify opportunities for new programming, partnerships, and revenue generation.
- Conduct market research, strategic and financial analysis, and develop business models to evaluate opportunities, risks, and potential impact.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, funding partners, and prospective partners.
- Lead the development and negotiation of complex sponsorship and partnership agreements, ensuring alignment on KPIs, budgets, and program expectations.
- Drive cross-functional business planning projects, collaborating with teams across Catalyst and TMU to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Lead special projects and new programs from planning through implementation, managing scope, timelines, resources, and delivery.
- Lead and develop a team by setting priorities, supporting performance, and creating opportunities for growth.

- Completion of a post-graduate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a project leadership role, preferably in business development, managing complex projects and revenue generating programs.
- Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and business planning.
- Strong business development, consulting, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to take initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Ability to simplify complex information, build stakeholder buy-in, and turn ideas into actionable plans.
- A results-driven, collaborative approach with a track record of delivering against objectives, deadlines, and targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Experience promoting programs, building partnerships, and representing an organization externally.
- Knowledge of government funding programs, requirements, and processes.
- Flexibility to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to travel internationally to support training delivery, engage stakeholders, and meet with partners across multiple time zones.
