Job Description:
  • The M&A IT Business Analyst supports the planning and execution of IT activities for mergers and acquisitions at Adobe. This role partners with cross-functional teams-including GTM, Sales, Product, Finance, Corporate Development, and IT-to gather requirements, analyze business processes, track integration activities, and support successful transaction outcomes.
  • The Business Analyst translates business needs into clear requirements, plans, and insights throughout the M&A lifecycle. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


What you'll Do:
  • Support IT workstreams across the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements with functional stakeholders and system owners.
  • Analyze current-state processes, systems, data, and dependencies to identify integration needs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into process flows, user stories, functional requirements, and actionable work plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track milestones, deliverables, decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Assist with systems assessments and rationalization activities across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, identity management, and data environments.
  • Support the development and tracking of integration key performance indicators, synergies, and transaction-value measures.
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, governance materials, and leadership updates.
  • Facilitate working sessions, document decisions and action items, and follow up with owners to support timely completion.
  • Maintain and improve M&A IT playbooks, templates, process flows, checklists, and other integration tools.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help develop repeatable practices for future transactions.
  • Support change-management, testing, data-migration, and business-readiness activities as needed.


What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, information systems, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, technology consulting, project coordination, IT operations, or a related role.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, analyzing data, and supporting cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the M&A lifecycle or IT integration activities is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms, as well as cloud and collaboration technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with project-tracking, reporting, process-mapping, and presentation tools.


Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $87,500 -- $167,250 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $115,500 - $167,250

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
